I've known Kyle for several years now. I used to work with him back in the day when I was working in a warehouse, loading trucks and moving pallets all night long. Kyle was always the type of guy who made things fun, even when the work became very tedious and overwhelming. Even when most guys got frustrated, he would find a way to keep things light.
I was ecstatic when I received an email from Kyle's fiancee Chelsea, asking if we could meet to chat about the possibility of me photographing their wedding. When I first met with these two, I could tell that Chelsea was the perfect girl for Kyle as we all sipped coffee together in Lansing. She was fun-loving, kind, thoughtful, and she possessed a really incredible personality. After they booked me and we got all of the details figured out, I was ready to photograph their big day.
These two share a love for music and unique places. So it made sense that they got married in a historic music hall and had their reception in the Howell Opera House! I arrived at Hartland Music Hall early on the morning of their wedding. The weather was perfect; not too warm, not too cold. And it was overcast, which is a photographer's dream!
Their wedding ceremony was beautiful and went very smoothly. The reception was classy and gorgeous. Please enjoy these images from their day, and share this article with your friends!
Photographer's Note: If anyone wants to know, all of these images were taken with two Fujifilm XT-2s and a Fujifilm X Pro 2, along with the Fujifilm X Series prime lens lineup. Shot in RAW and edited with personal presets in Lightroom.
